sorry anne,thats all i know.
mack
thanks mack, thats a lot more help than you might think.
i do know he was in the reserves but did'nt know it was from the 3rd battalion,
until recently i did'nt even know his regiment in world war 1.he was in the army
sometime before his marriage in 1909 but on his marriage cert he was a labourer.
i am convinced now the card is the right one.g'dad john is hard work even though i
know a fair bit about him in dublin and have marriage and death certs and know he
is buried in a family grave in mount jerome cemetery dublin, his army papers are the
hope of finding an exact birthdate for him so i can trace his family to a specific place in wales,
as i know thats where he and his family were until he was 14 years old.
here i go again writing novels when all i really want to do is say thanks for the info',only thing i
could think of for the letters hs was hospital ship! regards,Anne
