Pedder family of Frederick Hoffham and Aline Margaretta Soirdet

Hi there I am looking for any information on my great great great grandparents who lived in England. Aline margaretta Soirdet Pedder died at The Priory, Bradford on Avon in about 1885. She was married to Frederick Hoffham Pedder in about 1816. If anyone can help with further information on children etc that would be wonderful. Thank you

Aline Margaretha Siordet, baptised 12 Mar 1796, d/o James Lewis & Maria in London.

Married Frederick Pedder 11 May 1816 at London, St Peter Le Poer, Aline a minor, both parents were witnesses.

Children baptised at St Olave , Hart Street, City of London:
Maria Albers, born 5 Jul 1817
Robert, born 17 Feb 1820
Henry Frederick, born 9 Sep 1822
 Lewis, born 8 Nov 1818.

Frederick died in 1848.
Index to death duties have:
Pedder, Frederick H, of Thurloe (or Thurlock) Square, Brompton, executor is J?? Siordet, St Helens Place City.

James Lewis Siordet married Maria Sampson at Rodwell, Hertfordshire, 30 Oct 1791. James signs his name as J. L. Siordet Jun. (in beautiful handwriting).

There is a will for a Robert Pedder Esq of Brompton Middlesex, 1846, in which he names Maria Albers Pedder, the daughter of his adopted son Frederick Hoffham Pedder....

The Freedom of the City Admission papers for FHP show his father as Joseph Wessels, apprenticed to Robert Pedder, who was originally written as his father but his name is crossed out and Joseph Wessels, deceased, written instead.

Maria Albers Pedder married Thomas Bush Saunders, 15 Aug 1849 at Holy Trinity Brompton.

There is a will probated 3 April 1830 for James Lewis Siordet of Boward Street, Russell Square
executors are son John James Siordet, nephews James Mark Siordet, Lewis Andrew Siordet and Horatio Ripley? son in law.

Codicil mentions written 1827
daughter Louisa Susannah to marry his nephew James Mark Siordet

youngest son Robert Lewis Siordet

There may be other children not mentioned name the codicil makes sure the daughters get their fair share of the estate and the money to be theirs and not future husbands.

James Lewis Siordet died 8 March 1830 and was buried 15 March 1830 at St. Thomas Hackney age 66 abode St Helen's Bishopgate.

James Mark Siordet, died 3 November (1839?) Bologue France, his will written 7 May 1837

mentions brother Louis Andre Siordet (aka Lewis Andrew Siordet)
brother in law John James Siordet  (James Mark had married his sister Louisa Susannah also his first cousin).
god daughter Mary Ann Ripley
god sons Louis James Choisy, and Alfred James Siordet.

Executors are to be guardians of his children no names mentioned.
Codicil written 1839 mentions brother Stephen Daniel Siordet and an Aunts estate (added name Chapuis) and his wife Louisa Susannah.

He was a wealthy man left legacies to orphans homes, hospital in Geneva etc.

Ref: PCC Wills London proved 23 July 1840.
It had under gone three translations from French as the first two had erasures and corrections they were not accepted until a third translation was done.

Aline died 12 July 1885.

In 1841 FHP and Aline are living with adopted father Robert Pedder and children Maria and Robert.
Robert must go to Australia as there is a birth for an Aline Margaretta Pedder, 5 June 1854 at Himdmarsh South Australia, to Robert Pedder and Adelaide Barnett.

Thank you for your information, its all been very helpful, Robert did come to Australia and married Adelaide Barnett and they had I think 9 children and one of those is my great grandfather.
I don't know exactly when he came here to Australia, I've yet to look that up if I can find out where.

Thank you, I have a bit of information given to me by one of my uncles and the birth date of Lewis is the same as John James Siordet Pedder, so I'm not sure if my uncle has his information correct.
Would love to see the handwriting, some people wrote beautifully back then.
