Obediah Powell (Mangotsfield)

I am trying to find a baptism for Obediah Powell about 1728 in Mangotsfield and a death in 1728.
He married a Mary Price in 1755 and had a son John in 1770.
Any help would be appreciated.
I am also trying to find a baptism for John's wife Amelia Bryant about 1765 in the same area.

Do you mean he died 1828?  If he died as a baby he wouldn't have married and had a son

He was buried St James Mangotsfield 7.12.1828 aged 52 which puts his birthyear at approx 1776

So he couldn't have married Mary Price in 1755 as he wasn't born until around 1776 - nor could he have had a son in 1770

Sorry about that the death year is the wrong Obediah.
That was his son i think.
So i am still looking for a baptism about 1728 and a death after 1770

If that 1828 death was his son who appears to have been born around 1776 - any death for Obadiah senior would be after 1776
