William Slater 1764 Reading
« on: Saturday 06 August 05 15:54 BST (UK) »
Hi,
this is a cry for help!
Could anyone help me to find a William Slater born about 1764 in Reading?
He later moved to Kidderminster but the registers there refer to him as William Slater of Reading.
If anyone has information of a Slater family in Reading at that time or has any idea where I could go to next I would love to know.
Regards
Jean Sandra

I'm not sure this is going to be a lot of help to you but I looked on the NBI and a William Slater was buried at St. Mary, Kidderminster on 11th February 1799 - unfortunately it doesn't give his age.   Also, another William Slater was buried at St. Mary, Reading on 10th August 1781 - again, no age.

Hi,

many thanks Jill, they could be sons or Grandsons of my ancestor. It would be interesting to find out their details.
