Cause of Death?? Help Please
« on: Thursday 29 March 18 05:01 BST (UK) »
Hi all

you have been so wonderful in helping decipher other photos i have posted so hopefully someone can decipher this for me.

Its an Iowa Death Certificate for Frederick William Fisher, born in England (He stowed away on a ship bound for the USA and never spoke to his family in England again). I can read the date of death and possibly the word 'stomach' but that is all. I have tried matching up other letters on the DC but i cant seem to read it at all

Thanks to all in advance :)

It possibly says "hemorrhage from stomach & bowels".

Under contributory cause, its looks like "cancer (something)"

I agree with this. I think it says 'Cancer of Liver' as contributory cause.
