Farrellys from Pagestown (Meath)
« on: Sunday 06 May 18 20:21 BST (UK) »
Hello,

I am tracking Farrellys from Pagestown.
Anne Farrelly, born 13 October 1861, bapt. 19/03/1862, was the eldest daughter of:
Edward Farrelly, shepherd and Ho(Nora)/Honor (sometimes Ann) Lynch.

Other children were:
Mary (1863)
Bartle (1864)
John (1866)
James (1868)
Michael (1872)
Rose (1874)
Bridget (1876)
William (1881)
Thomas (1884).

Anne Farrelly married Thomas Reilly in 1881 and they moved to Dublin where their children were born (one of them being Christopher, born in 1894, my Great-grandfather). Her sister Mary married Patrick Reilly (farmer - Thomas' brother) in 1898 and they lived in Pagestown. They had children Anne (1899), Bernard (1901), Edward (1903), Patrick (1904) and Mary (1906).

My Grandfather Christopher O'Reilly, son of Christopher and grandson of Anne Farrelly and Thomas Reilly, used to spend his childhood Summer holidays in Meath where "he went to see the family" with his brother Thomas.

I would love to hear of any information about descendants and ancestors.

Thank you. I have been trying for sometime but hadn't thought of Celbridge. Will let you know.
