Looking for info on Martha Harber early 1800's
« on: Saturday 12 May 18 06:38 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for any info on Martha Harber. I believe her to be the grandmother of my great grandfather Joseph William Harber born March 5 1891 in Worcestershire.

Any information on the Morehouse family in Ireland would be greatly appreciated.

Hello John and welcome

I see you have posted on this thread re Martha and you might receive information there.

It is best to post what information you already have - baptisms, marriages, census etc to avoid unnecessary information and time.

Have you see this?

I think this is what is referred to in the book.

With regard to the Morehouse family - again what/where etc. Perhaps you need a separate thread for that enquiry.

Regards
Heywood

The only link I have really is Name and Location given to me by my 90 year old great aunt. After seeing Martha's picture i am absolutely positive there is relation, she looks so much like my father it makes me uncomfortable.

Perhaps she was a sister to an ancestor.

Have you tracked Joseph William back in censuses and parish records?

I'm having a really hard time with that. His name may have been spelled Jofeph or something like that. I was hoping that looking in to Martha would shed more light on it.

Is this Joseph William, the son of George and Elizabeth and living in Worcester?

You can track back through George although he is born in Kempsey so no Alvechurch connection yet.

George in 1851 with parents Joseph and Ann
