1939 register -Isabella BRADBURY
« on: Tuesday 15 May 18 20:12 BST (UK) »
Isabella Bradbury b 1880 Lancashire, d 1946 Nottingham.
She was definitely in Devon in 1911, 1916, 1923-7 and 1930.
Possibility that she was a nurse but I've not been able to get any hard proof of that.
I can't find her on the 1939 register or military records on Ancestry.
Any help greatly appreciated. ;)

Was Bradbury her maiden name?

Have you got her death certificate - does that give a date of birth?

According to newspaper reports Isabella Bradbury appeared at Exeter Assizes in 1931 on a charge of arson.  I can't find the outcome but is it possible she was found guilty and is in fact a prisoner in 1939?

Sorry- just realised I've posted this in completed lookup requests Topic moved.
She never married so yes. DOB was 25th August 1880.

She was found not guilty.

There's an Isabella BRADBURY in Clowne R.D. who is described as a "district Nurse".

Her birth year is way off but it looks as though a correction has been made above it. Tough to tell.

Date and month are correct. I can't tell what the correction is either.
