Adoption records from Queen Charlottes Hospital Hammersmith 1941
« on: Thursday 26 July 18 14:33 BST (UK) »
Hi - Could anyone advise me how I should start to go about finding records for the adoption of my sister.  She was born in Falmouth in 1941 and family history says she was given up for "private adoption" at Queen Charlottes.  Don't quite know why Queen Charlottes is involved but my mother gave her address as 7 Park Place Westminster at the time of registering the birth.

Would be grateful for any guidance as to where we can look for more info.
Many thanks Tundo

Is it likely that she was working at 7 Park Place when she had the baby?

You can look that address up on the 1939 register.Choose City of Westminster and then Park Place.
It seems to be full of high up people and staff.
