What are the sources of the dates of birth being in a particular quarter?

Records recorded in quarters started with Civil Registration in 1837. Before that, unless a date of birth is recorded in the parish record with the baptism, or on any other surviving document, it is usually down to guesswork often based on an age at burial.
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

I do not any other sources for the births.

Do the marriages deaths give details of the persons?

How sure are you of these details, there were several Richard Pows and Mary Pows in the area at the time. E.g could it be that Mary was the one buried in 1777 and that Richard remarried to Anne Harris in 1780 and had a son George in 1783 ?

A Richard Pow was baptised at Stanton Drew in March 1749/50, but his father was George and he was buried in 1741.

Another was baptised at Compton Dando in 1748, parents Richard and Elizabeth. I cannot see a record for a marriage between Richard Pow and Elizabeth Lansdown anywhere.
