I'm looking for connections to the listed families - Anglin, Fahy, Desmond & Jennings who come from around the Bandon Road area of Cork.
They are all interconnected i.e. through marriage. I just can't quite find the records to do so.
Some more details:
Honora Anglin married John Fahy in St Finbarrs Church, Cork on 6 Mar 1810.
The had at least the following children: Michael b 1819, David b 1820, John b 1826 & William b 1831 all baptised in St Finbarrs Church, Cork.
From there the Desmond & Jennings are supposed to be involved as cousins or partners of these people.
I have William Fahy married to Mary Higgins on 11 Jan 1856 in St Finbarrs Church, Cork. Their children: Nora b 1857, Catherine b 1859, William b 1860, John b 1862, Timothy b 1863, John b 1865, Thomas b 1869, Julia b 1872, Mary Bridget 1875.
I find it strange that this couple had 2 children with the name of John born 3 years apart with no death of the first to be definately found.
Any clues on where to look for connections to prove more information of this family would be appreciated. I'm not sure if they travelled overseas or stayed in ireland.
I have proof of the 2 marriages & the children's births. I also have some information of the children of William & Mary.
If you need any more information please advise me & I'll provide what I can.
