I have been trying to find Marriage for David Evans and Ann Howell. 1851 census They are at Llanelly David 38 Ann 40 son John 5yrs. David birth place looks like Legeron possibly Tregaron Cardigan. Ann birth listed Aberystrwy Monmouthshire. I got Ann maiden name off son John Death notice in Charters Towers Australia. Appreciate any help breaking down this brick wall. Tks Palma

Rosie - I was just going to post this to ask Palma28 if this is the family living in Merthyr Tydfil age for John is 7 not 5 though but they have now gone off line

How sure are you that the 1851 census that you have found is your John Evans. 

When did he go to Australia, did he travel alone
