I know Bride's normally marry at their Church but I'd be looking to see if both families attended same Church, not much point looking for Finglas records at moment

Earliest register 1636-1715 available for purchase as published volume with index from the RCB Library.

The parish registers have been published as Herbert Wood (ed.), 'The Registers of the Parish of S.Catherine, Dublin, 1636-1715' (Dublin, 1908).

The parish deeds have been published as Henry F. Twiss, 'Some Ancient deeds of the Parishes of St.
Catherie and St. James' in Proceedings of the Royal Irish Academy, vol. xxxv, sect. C, no,. 7 (Dublin, 1919).

The gravestone inscriptions have been published as Sean Murphy (ed.), 'Memorial Inscriptions from St Catherine's Church and Graveyard, Dublin' (Dublin, 1981).

Sean Murphy's 'Memorial Inscriptions from St Catherine's Church and Graveyard, Dublin' only has 1 Nelson g/stone as vandals destroyed many, then Dublin Corporation "gently demolished " the rest and dumped them!

It was Erected by Horatio Nelson, Betford, to his brother Richard who died 10 June 1828, age 29

While Dublin Corporation "gently demolished " the rest and dumped them they recorded whatever was legible but many were recorded as illegible. So, that is from the 1972 Dublin Corporation List.

The Church Registers show him buried 13 June 1828.... so maybe there are other Nelson burials in the Registers!

Hi

We came across a grave (see attached) of Horatio Folliott Nelson's wife Maria and daughter in the St Anne's church in Kew, Surrey.

Just in case you don't know about it

Best wishes
Max and Svetlana
