Georgina McKinnon born in Rothes in 1882

Georgina Taylor McKinnon was born in Rothes in February 1882 and Scotland's People's records show that her mother was Jessie McKinnon. There is a Jessie born in Blackhills, Elgin in 1862, a daughter of Malcolm McKinnon and Mary Ann Falconer. There is no sign of a later marriage of Jessie. Does anyone know if Malcolm was Georgina's grandfather? Georgina was brought up by her grandmother, Margaret Watson, born Rothes.

A Margaret Riach married a William Watson in 1887 in Rothes, Moray. Likely the couple we have with Georgina in 1891. A check of the marriage cert would provide you with confirmation of this.
