1911 workhouse in Dublin
« on: Saturday 27 October 18 00:05 BST (UK) »
Hello attached is an extract from the 1911 enumerator report from what I think is a work house. There are about 60 children resident. Does anyone know where i might find more information? The children I am interested in are Patricia and Adeline Lynch who were 5 and 7 at the time.

also does anyone know where i might be able to trace their birth / baptism records?

many thanks for your help

First of all one needs the information from the form to see where they were born.

In this case  Dublin City.

Armed with the information you know you can look for Birth Reg on

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

and enter the information and search.  Then adjust serch and look for other child.

I could do this for you but then you would never learn how simple it is to search for stuff.

Then you can adjust search accordingly to look for Deaths of Parents or their Marriage etc... or even the marriages of these 2 children etc

have a try yourself and good hunting!

I did the search as per example.... there is only 1 result  ;D  so a very easy one for your first attempt!

There are 2 pages with images  and hers is on page 2

When you put search details in and search you have the captcha security to complete

then next enter your name and tick box

All very simple procedures

There appear to be workhouse admission and discharge records for Adeline 1909 also poor law board of guardians records
