Sinfield

[Norfolk Nigel]

Has anyone come across a place in Norfolk called Sinfield? There are several places with a similar name, eg: Silfield or Suffield but a Mary Ann Hunt (nee Elvin) is shown on the 1891 Census (RG12; Piece: 1495; Folio: 94; Page: as being born in Sinfield, also noted in the 1871 Census (RG10; Piece: 1837; Folio: 56; Page:, and as Synfield in 1861 (RG09 Piece: 1233; Folio: 172; Page: 12).

Mary Ann married Henry Hunt in Forncett St. Peter on 30 Oct 1859.

Please could anyone give any info on Mary Ann or where Sinfield is.

Maybe her birth certificate would help but could it be L not S so Linfield/Lynfield 

Where was Mary Ann living in 1841 when she was a baby?

He M/C has her Father as ROBERT Elvin a Labourer and she is age 22
Henrys Fathers is EDWARD a Labourer.

Although on that Methodist Records link it does say "Sinfield is possibly Silfield (Wymondham)?"

1841 census of Wymondham, FamilySearch has residence for those Elvins as Stanfield
And it does look like that on the original image

EDIT On the same census page is Stanfield Hall, and that also does exist!
