I found a lovely new Contact that is a definite cousin
ABSOLUTELY without my DNA results... !!!
It was due to an old post on HERE
So
I thought I would check just quickly what my DNA results have done for me
Went to the page
typed a family name into the search engine..
and got one match of 65 or something segments.. (MY NEPHEW)
the rest were less than 2 % with NO tree available --
so I did this for half a dozen names in my tree with the same
RESULTs
LUCKILY I have managed to connect to one particular line that was NOT proven --- base born -- and or no certificate and that has said YES in a round about way that they are my lot... I THINK ....
It took a lot of working and struggling but it is a possibility that I can prove that line is linked now..
Also the definitive proof of my main Line..
so yep.. ok... Paternal seems to be proven / connected to people with same surnames..
It hasnt however given me that burst of people wanting to connect..
I cannot understand why People have done DNA and that is it.. NO TREE at all..
trying not to keep on about it..
