Latin marriage licence 1690
« on: Sunday 28 October 18 09:08 GMT (UK) »
Hello, can anyone translate the latin in the lower image of the attached? Thank you for any assistance.

Also, if anyone can suggest where the groom's residence 'Brunsley de Cresley' is, I'd appreciate that too!

Thorpe, Feak & Townsend (Norfolk) / Ormandy & Slater (Dalton-in-Furness) / Corner (Liverpool) / Wray (Lincolnshire) / Fidler, Bridge & Turner (Derbyshire)

The word a couple along from Cressley looks like Nottingamia, so I wonder if it is Brinsley de Cressley. Still can’t find that, but there is Brinsley in Notts.

I think the bride is Marian Stevenson from Chesterfield. (Same small words here as before Nottingamia) Derbia

Thank you so much!

I know basic latin terms from parish registers, but anything more advanced I find really difficult - particularly due to abbreviations.
Thorpe, Feak & Townsend (Norfolk) / Ormandy & Slater (Dalton-in-Furness) / Corner (Liverpool) / Wray (Lincolnshire) / Fidler, Bridge & Turner (Derbyshire)
