Hi

I think this is them - HO 1730 Fo19b
Goose Green Deddington 1851

WILSON
Joseph H M 32 Paper Maker born Wells
Elizabeth W M 30 born Witney
William J S 7
James 2
Henry 11m

all kids born Deddington

- I couldn't see John Lewis - but I don't have an index for this part of the census so I am having to go through it page by page - it is possible I missed him if he was staying at someone elses

Debbie
Pay(n)ton, Payton, Pe(a)rton all Oxfordshire and Berkshire - particularly Abingdon

Hello Debbie ,many thanks for your reply, on the 1861 census for Darley Abbey it shows him as John Lewie, but he disappears on the 1871,  I will try and look for him as William J Wilson.
I have checked  for a birth at Deddington on the 1837  on line no joy but there is a match for william Wilson at Witney June 1843. ( On the 1901 census it show his brother Henry  as being born in Witney but on all the census's for Henry it show Deddington)
I have tried to find a marriage for Joseph and Elizabeth Wilson I checked Witney which is where she came from but no joy again but there is a marrage at Reading ,March 1841 which might fit.

thank you for your help on ce again    Regards Ken
