Ancestry seem not to bother anymore with hints..

similar name or similar to a similar name -- doesnt matter age or area.. anything with a kind of link.. maybe even the capital letter is the same...

Sorry -- wrong side of bed this morning to accept .... things like that

You are right Xin it is now ridiculous.

I just ignore them ----- after a good laugh ;D ;D

What is really concerning are those people who will accept them as gospel and put all that rubbish in their trees only to be copied by hundreds of others >:( >:(

I have just had a number of hints for a gentleman who died in 1796 which have him in the voters roll in 1965 - they are just using a name - nightmare.

Think I will go and turn off all my hints.

They have been really stupid for years, hence the reason why I turned off Ancestry hints a long time ago!
Census information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

I thought I had them turned OFF    but these stupid little green leaves pop up -- so I click and it tells me rubbish.. thank goodness   I have a head that triple triple checks.

Else g.knows who I would be related to by now.


I admit a few ... ofgs errors here and there  have driven me crazy ..... but I hope to ensure.. by now there are NONE that I personally all by myself or with the help of a trusted RC member sorted...:) :) :)
