JS died in Portsmouth RI between June & November 1653 (months of will & probate from New England, The Great Migration and The Great Migration Begins, 1620-1635)
How / where can I obtain a copy or a transcription of the will?

Thanks but I have that already, it is who else he mentioned that is of interest.
Sandford (Sanford) is an unusual name and I believe he links to the family of Wisbech which then, based on a memorial, links to Sandford Hall in Shropshire
