It looks as though James had a twin brother, William Basil Page, who died Dec qtr 1928 (W Derby) aged 1.

Yes! That is him! I completely forgot about the dead twin until you mentioned it.

The eldest brother may be the Reginald Thomas Page b 27 November 1925 who died in Warrington in 1996.

Given the relatively recent death his 1939 entry may still be redacted.

You could order the marriage but there is always a chance it may not be him.

It looks as though the wife of that James A Page Liverpool marriage remarried in 1979 (Gilmartin) and died 2008 -birth c1929.  Possible births to the Page marriage are in Liverpool until 1959.

Do you know James’ birth date. The reason I ask is it would to confirm or deny that he is the James in Wales. Also entries in  the 1939 register often have dates of death or other useful information added to them.
