Parents of Henry Ryder born c.1842 Nottinghamshire

Tracing the Ryder family I've hit a brick wall with the parents of Henry Ryder born c.1842 and would appreciate any help.   Henry's records found:

1861 Census, age 18, born Lenton, Notts, boarder living with Eleanor Aldred and family
1871 Census, age 29, born Radford, Notts, married to Susannah (married 1866 Leeds)
1881 Census age 39, born New Lenton, Notts - living apart from wife?   

I hoped to find Henry Ryder living with his parents in the 1851 census - no record found

1881 Census age 39, born New Lenton, Notts - living apart from wife?   

Susanna is with him in 1881 also his sons Mansfield age 7, Charles 5, George 3 and Albert 9 months

Thanks Rosie, yes, records suggest Henry Ryder was possibly illegitimate.  If so I must draw a line.

A little twist to Henry Ryder born 1842.   In the library using free Ancestry I looked up his marriage to discover the marriage certificate.    Henry married Susannah Wetherill on Christmas Day 1866 in Leeds.  His father is shown as John Ryder, profession Engine Driver.  I'm guessing John Ryder was born around 1820 and don't think it will be possible to add more to that.

There is a John Ryder and wife Emma baptising children in St Mary Nottingham
1850 Ann, 1852 George, 1855 Emma and 1870 Emma. Fathers occupation Smith for 2 children and Engineer/ Engine fitter for the other 2.

I think John Ryder lied on the M/C, his Father may have been a Engine Driver though.
