Fisher Family advice needed
« on: Sunday 18 November 18 15:05 GMT (UK) »
Hi
I am researching the Fisher branch of my Tree, and have come across three babies deaths, as they died in same year as they were born I would assume maybe "still born" . Would these babies be baptized ? and if you can, where or what is the best place online to research baptisms please.would appreciate any help in a lookup or any help offered...
Born to Edwin and Mary Jane Fisher
Emily Jane Fisher born 1879 died 1879
Agnes Florence Born 1884 died 1884 Reading Berkshire,
Arthur Henry born 1882-died 1882 Reading Berks

They also lost 2 other son's at the age of 1 and 2 years , where is the best place to obtain death certificates ? as probably best way to find out cause of death i guess..Very sad as out of a family of eight children only 3 girls survived..
Thank you for your time .

You would need to establish which quarter of the year they were born and died, they may have lived for several weeks or months.

You can look up their birth and death registrations on the Free BMD index which will also list the reference numbers you need to order any certificates.

If you have any trouble just post the names of the boys and can look them up for you and advise further :)

Samuel Edwin Fisher b1876 died 1878
Albert George Fisher b1890 died 1891

Burials in Reading for those two, plus Agnes and Emily, probably at London Road Cemetery.
Could contain more info (but not cause of death!)
