There will have been any number of people called Mrs W Betteridge over the years/centuries.  What is the source of her name, when and where did she live (city of Gloucester? Or elsewhere?) and who are the Dix and Stephens individuals to whom she was related?
Ayr: Barnes, Wylie
Caithness: MacGregor
Essex: Eldred (Pebmarsh)
Gloucs: Timbrell (Winchcomb)
Hants: Stares (Wickham)
Lincs: Maw, Jackson (Epworth, Belton)
London: Pierce
Suffolk: Markham (Framlingham)
Surrey: Gosling (Richmond)
Wilts: Matthews, Tarrant (Calne, Preshute)
Worcs: Milward (Redditch)
Yorks: Beaumont, Crook, Moore, Styring (Huddersfield); Middleton (Church Fenton); Exley, Gelder (High Hoyland); Barnes, Birchinall (Sheffield); Kenyon, Wood (Cumberworth/Denby Dale)

That’s helpful, but there are still no dates.  In order for Rootschatters to help we really need the basic “who, where & when” behind a query, even if approximate.

I’ve had a look on FreeBMD and I see that:

The John W Dix marriage was to Annie Hill, Sep qtr 1907 Gloucester

The William E Stephens marriage to Harriett Hill was Dec qtr 1915 Gloucester.

So YOU can look up all the Betteridge marriages from ( say) 1920 to the event which names her as a niece.

Look for a wife with a Hill / dix/ Stephens surname.

For post 1939 marriages,  locate candidate in 1939 on the basis of maiden/ married surname combinations.

I'd imagine it can be done with no subscription.
Then report back with your results.

Just out of interest years ago it was the norm to refer to a married woman by her her husband's name or initial therefore a Dora Smith with husband John would be known as either Mrs John Smith or Mrs J Smith for example. So the initial W could be male or female.

If Harriet Hill had more than one sister you need to find who they married, the names of all their daughters and then try to find which married a Betteridge.

Unable to quote the 1939 register, but the census of William & Harriet STEPHENS  leads to this information:

Rose A E HILL married Christopher W BETTERIDGE - J/A/S Qtr 1940 - Gloucester City

--
There is a tree on Ancestry, re: Christopher Wallace BETTERIDGE and Rose A E HILL : parents: George HILL and Rose Anna FARLEY

Many years ago, when quoting/writing an envelope etc to a married woman ...    Mrs (the initial of her husband) then their Surname
