1871 Census John Craven HIDE born 1869 Paddington
« on: Tuesday 27 November 18 08:22 GMT (UK) »
Hi I'm trying to find John Craven Hide born 1869 in Paddington, on the 1871 census. I have him on the 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911 censuses but I cannot see him on the 1871 census. Can anyone help, please

Thanks

No, I was hoping to find him with his parents on the 1871 census.

In 1891 he's a grocers assistant in Harrow Road, Paddington (John C Hyde)

In 1901 he's a dairyman in Bexley Street, Clewer, Windsor, Berkshire (John C Hide)

in 1911 he's a grocer and dairyman in Clewer, Windsor, Berkshire (John Craven Hide)

I'm currently located in Greece, so sending off for the wedding certificate could take some time.

I can see his marriage to Alice Harriet WESTLAKE in 1894 indexed on Ancestry but my subscription is with Findmypast which hasn't got it.

Thank you AVM228, you're a superstar.

Now maybe I'll be able to find him in 1871
