Marriage look up

I have a marriage for a Rosina Chandler and a Albert E Brown in Poplar 1933, ancestry only goes up to 1932. Is there anyway I can find the details of this marriage without buying the certificate please.

Try Free Births Marriages and Deaths.
fbmd,a free forum easy to,use.
Just put that in google and it will come up. Click and you will see a form to fill in ,choose marriages,then the relevant names etc.
It does not like secondChristian names eg Mary Jane,just put Mary.
Not all records are complete but it really is worth a try,easy to,use .

Got it,registered the September quarter of 1933 at Poplar.
1c 900.
Hope this helps.But there are no details just those,no witness names or which church or registry office etc,parents details etc.

Findmypast is the same as the other sites.  They have Albert E Brown . as her husband.Have you searched the newspapers ?Sometimes you find an announcement in their local paper which names their parents.If you are really lucky you may even find an article in the paper which tells you all about the wedding.

Have you found Rosina on the 1939 register?   

This should give her date of birth.  You may then be lucky enough (good luck with that) to find a baptism with the same birth date.

Yes I have found all that Lily M , it is a very delicate situation, I am researching for a friend and need to be one hundred percent sure I have the right family. This is why I am not putting any more information on here.

As the 1933 information is not available yet, I will leave it thank you.
