Hi all.
I've been away for a few days and see lots of progress has been made and Isaacs Bapt/ Parents confirmed.

Grace BURNEL/L christened 4 December 1768, St. Mary's, Yate, Gloucester
Parents HENRY/TABITHA
(Source Familysearch.Org)

Henry/Tabitha seem to have a lot of children 1755-1771 Yate.

I cant find the Marriage 1751-1755 anywhere in England on F/S.Org.

Henry may have been christened 5 December 1725, St. Mary's, Yate, Father HENRY Burnell

Hello I am new to ancestry  and helping my husband trace his family line. He is a direct descendent of Thomas Cox 1768-1842. We are considering travel to Gloucestershire from Pennsylvania, USA this summer to find his gravesite.

Thomas Cox would be my husband's fourth great grandfather. I believe Thomas Cox (1768-1842) had a son named  George who died in 1859.  I have not been able to find information on him, but he apparently had a son named Thomas Cox who was born on December 11, 1842, the son of Ann and George. He died on August 22, 1910, at the age of 67.

Thomas Cox (b1842) had a son named Richard William Cox was born on November 6, 1865, in Gloucestershire, England, when his father, Thomas was 22 and his mother, Louisa, was 23. He married Annie Elizabeth Scoffield Langston in 1896. He died on December 3, 1911, in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, at the age of 46. This Richard William Cox is my husband's great grandfather and my husband looks very much like him. We have one picture.

Richard William Cox (b1865) had a son named John Langston Cox in 1896 who married Katherine Unger. John Langston Cox was born on September 22, 1896, in Carnegie, Pennsylvania when his father, Richard, was 30 and his mother, Annie, was 22. He died on November 18, 1953, in his hometown at the age of 57.

He worked for a Chemical Company in Heidelburg, PA. Any information on the Cox Family of Gloucestershire‎, I greatly appreciate.

It is a problem as I cant find a Marriage for George to Ann Matilda Brooks.

I see Trees have her Parents as JAMES/MARY (she is with them 1841 Census as you know) and her Sister Mira Brooks is with her in another Census.

Trouble is James Brooks/Mary Jones didn't marry until 1825 so I think Ann Matilda was illeg;

ANN MATILDA Jones christened 30 August 1818 Bream, Glous, Mother MARY Jones

So she may have married under Jones, if indeed her and George ever married and I can find no evidence of it.

This is Harriets Birth Reg;
COX, HARRIET, Mothers mn BROOKS****
GRO Reference: 1848  D Quarter in MONMOUTH  Volume 26  Page 76

Her Baptism on Anc has her Father George as a Labourer.

I am struggling finding the other childrens birth reg including your Thomas.

This is a outside chance;
JONES, WILLIAM  JONES, no Mothers mn***
GRO Reference: 1843  J Quarter in MONMOUTH  Volume 26  Page 77
