Thomas Holmes

Could anyone help please with the death/burial details of Thomas Holmes, bapt. March 1830 Huttons Ambo, but lived in Snainton between 1861 and 1911, possibly longer. The best I have on his death is JFM 1921 Scarborough, age 90. I believe records for Snainton were transferred from one parish to another at some point, hence the Scarborough mention, although I don't think he ever lived there. His wife Mary died in 1913, also registered at  Scarborough.

  Thanks.

Remember though - Scarborough Registration District covers Snainton from 1837  ;)
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
If you don't ask the question, you won't get an answer.

Hi there,
Yes, I'm pretty certain that's the correct Thomas. Another small piece in the jigsaw.

    Many thanks  B.
