Peter Hope b 1602 Wyck Rissington

Hi there,

I wondered if any one would kindly be able to look up the father of Peter Hope b 1602 in Wyck Rissington please?
Although I am on ancestry I have not been able to find a baptism.

I think the BT's on Ancestry ( and any of the other sites where they are available) only date from 1605, so possibly you won't find a baptism.


However if you are using Ancestry, check out their Gloucestershire Wills database - there are numerous Hope Wills on there for Wyck Rissington including a Catherine HOPE dated 1621 - she names a son Peter and another son Gyles.

There is also the Will of an Arnold HOPE dated 1612 - names his wife Katherine and a son Peter too. Possible family or the family you are searching.
