Does anyone recognise this street in Wellington - photo taken in late 1800's and possibly in Te Aro

Hi it is my grandmother Janet Rice nee Bradford with two of her daughters Janet and Mabel - she may have been living with her husband Robert Rice at the time or separated

A Janett Rice residing at 68 Cuba Street, Wellington signed the 1893 Women's Suffrage Petition, Page 330

The Wellington electoral rolls record her living at:
1896 and 1900 - Tasman Street, married woman, residential - no sign of Robert
1905 - Janet and Mabel Mary Rice living at 34 Kent Terrace
1911 - Janet Edith Louisa (married) and Janet Edith Louisa (spinster) living at 272 Willis street.

The photo is definitely in the  1890’s as the daughters are born 1884 and 1888 - possibly Tasman Street although rhe street looks very steep which is why I thought Te Aro Valley which is where the girls were born. I was hoping a Wellingtonian might recognise the street!

My husband and I are both from Wellington.
I found a Robert Rice in Holloway Road on the 1890 Wellington electoral roll.
Looking at address details and estimating the ages of the children in the photo I have come up with two options;
Tasman Street and Holloway Road.
My husband knows Tasman street better than I and doesn't think that this is the street.  It could however be Holloway Road?
The National Library has some photos of Holloway Road online.
Are specific places of birth ie a residential address, stated on the children's birth registrations?
We have ruled out 272 Willis street, 34 Kent Terrace and 68 Cuba street as these are largely flat in comparison to street/road in the photo.

Thanks WNW. Son born 1896 to a different man (Joseph Andrews) - youngest daughter in photo born 1888. Another daughter (not in photo) of Robert Rice born 1890 Mitcheltown. Daughter born 1888 Polhill Gully. I think street looks very steep - perhaps Holloway Road then ....
