Robert Erskine born 1812 in Ballyclare

 Does anyone know the parents of Robert Erskine born August 1, 1812 in Ballyclare?   He married Mary Andrews probably about 1839 in Ireland and their daughter Sarah Elizabeth born in Indiana married Robert Boyd Beggs in Indiana in 1869. 
 Also where is Donomoy?

This townland is just north of Ballyclare town / Ballyeaston village.

The Population of Ballyeaston Congregation in 1813 by the Rev. Samuel Elder, Minister includes the townland of Donomoy.

There are two Erskine families listed, probably father and son.

Thomas Erskine, 73yrs, Farmer with wife Jennet 74 and children Mary 42, Jennet 40 and Thomas Irvin 15, adopted.

Next door there is:
Robert Erskine 46yrs, farmer, wife Jane, 36 and children Elisabeth13, Thomas 11, John 9, James 7, Sara 5 and Robert 1.

This may be your Robert with his parents, siblings and his paternal grandparents.

That sounds very possible.  My Robert would have been 1 yr. old in 1813 and he married Mary Andrews.  So the 46 yr old could be his father. On the other hand, my Robert's first son was James if that is any indication of who his father was. They don't always follow the naming pattern. Also, his wife's father was James. Then again, maybe I don't have all of his children's names. I will follow up  on this.
