John Hey
« on: Saturday 05 January 19 17:10 GMT (UK) »
John Hey was born on 25 December 1825 in Keighley, West Riding of Yorkshire (as it was then).  He was baptised on 24 February 1826 at St Michael and All Angels, Haworth.

He was the son of Stephen and Susan Hey (formerly Shackleton) who are my 4x great grandparents.

His wife was Hannah (formerly Sugden, born c1820) and they had 11 children between c1841 and c1861.

By 1881 he is living in Colne, Lancashire.

I have him on the census from 1851 to 1881 then I lose him.

I haven't got his marriage certificate yet, this is something I need to chase up.

The St Michael & All Angels, Haworth baptism you quote:

It could be.

All I can tell you is that I have him on the census up to 1891 by which time he's in Lancashire.
