How long does it take for a new topic to be posted?

I've not been on the site for a loooooooooooooong time. I posted in the Date Old Photographs forum and said my post had to be moderated first.  How long should it take please?

Depends on who is around. Volunteers are not online 24/7.
Its only going to be a quick check that the photo isn't inappropriate.
