Curneen Originated in Dromahair

Local knowledge suggests that the Curneens of Glenade originated in Dromahair and over time moved into Glenade. I have no evidence of this and there is little to support the claim other than older Curneens suggesting this. Where would you start to look for clues?

you'd need to see who they were renting from on Griffith's and then look for Grantor/Landlord's name on FS to see if any Deeds were registered

In the example below, you'd need to check under T.... Grantor Tottenham and see if there are any registered Tottenham to Curneen in relevant time frame.

On FS  the Grantor index St-T, W 1833-1839 doesn't show any to Curneen so you might need to look at earlier or later years depending on what years you have them where... noting Book numbers and entry numbers as you go, then scroll down on FS to that Deed book.
