Having in the last few weeks contributed photographs to this site, I was given this link to the-

Heritage Images database

http://www.aucklandcity.govt.nz/dbtw-wpd/heritageimages/advanced.htm

[Twiggy Tree has given the direct link to Governor Grey's collection. Mine will also take you to other photographic collections.  :)]

Hello.

Using Twiggy Tree's link I navigated by :-

Alan.

PS. Don't get carried away without keeping note of page numbers or keeping page dumps for further
reference. Eg to enlarge for better viewing or tweek contrast on signatures where the ink has faded etc. There are two columns of signatures on each page which has 25 ruled lines, therefore up to 50 signatures per page, and close to 300 pages of signatures.

On one of the first pages viewed, when playing with the controls to see how they worked, I spotted a signature I recognised and thought near the beginning, it would be easily found again. Hate to admit that it took me quite a while to find it again, when I returned to the computer to have a closer look.

The original signatures will be a great resourse when wanting to compare with other original documents; deeds, wills etc.
