Church of England Baptism Records post 1915

The Baptism of Alice Arnfield is listed in Manchester, England, Church of England Births and Baptisms, 1813-1915 and is recorded as 28 July 1909 at Christ Church Denton in the County of Lancashire.

Howerver where could I seach for the baptism of my mother Doris Arnfileld  who was born on the 22 November 1919 - mother Lizzie Howard and father Benjamin Arnfield.

Her brother Leonard Arnfield was born 27 July 1915.

Any hint on where to seach woul be most appreciated.

As a matter of interest, what do you feel that a baptism record would tell you that a birth certificate wouldn't?  Are you sure she was baptised or assuming that she was?

I am assuming that your mother went to New Zealand at some point which is why her record is closed on the 1939 Register.
