Brompton St Barbara Garrison Church - online disappeared?
« on: Friday 01 February 19 18:49 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
A few years ago I know I was able to access records for the garrison church. There are still links on Family Search, etc pointing the way to City Ark. However, the marriage links don't work. Does anyone know what has happened to them? Have they been removed or have the changes online meant they've been forgotten about? I'm specifically interested in 1939 for a groom who was a Royal Engineer.

Thanks in advance.

I think they are under revision.

Have you tried finding the couple on the 1939 index.

Hi Jennifer and thanks for replying.

Yes, I have them on pretty much all available online records. However, I want to look at their marriage record for other details (which used to be online therefore no need to buy a certificate). It's not my family, so I can't ask my friend to spend money on BMD certs at the moment.  It's the long route around, I know, but...

Thanks
