« on: Wednesday 06 February 19 15:51 GMT (UK) »
Hi there

I’m
Helping a family connection with one of his other sides of his family

He had a relative residing in 68 queen street Aberdeen, around 1890s

But for some reason that buildings don’t seem to excist today

Can anyone help
With why these buildings were removed or longer excist

This might help us understand what happened to Francis and Annie stockdale

I don't know when the buildings were demolished but Queen Street is where the police headquarters are now. It is a modern building. If you click on this link & input Queen Street in your search you will see a picture of some buildings in that street long ago. https:// www.silvercityvault.org.uk

I think a lot of re-development took place in that part of Aberdeen in the 1950s and '60s.
GRAY - Inveresk; Lanarkshire
LINDSAY - Lanarkshire
PURDIE - Lanarkshire; W. Lothian
POZZI - Elgin; Lancashire
MACKENZIE, MORISON - Stornoway
ARCHIBALD, HAY, HUNTER, SNADDON - Clackmannanshire
COXON, HALL, JACKSON, SHOTTON - Northumberland

Looks as if the area had not been redeveloped by 1955 - https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/#zoom=19&lat=57.1494&lon=-2.0948&layers=170&b=1. Don't know if there had been any renumbering between the 1890s and 1955.
