This is more of a tip than anything else. I'm sure experienced posters will be aware of this, but for beginners or those who have just discovered a Somerset connection, if you have a Somerset laceworker who suddenly disappeared when the industry went into decline, there's a very good chance they ended up in the same industry in Notts.....others also moved nearby to be near relatives/friends & worked on the railway in Derby
