twice in the 1939
« on: Friday 15 February 19 15:42 GMT (UK) »
Ida Lavinia Birkett --- is not a common name...

but I have found this lady twice in the 1939

birthdate the same 12th Dec 1875

so I think she was lucky enough to have a holiday home.... !! and declared herself to be in both at one and the same time..

once she is with her daughter Hilda  and then with a lot of unusual people as incapacitated....

so maybe goes away for 6 months of the year...

uhm   It states Married on both  --  but no sign of Mr Birkett   'YET'

I tried free bmd for just Ida Lavinia 1874/1876 and these two appear:-

Births Dec 1874
WALSHAM    Ida Lavinia        Mile End    1c   605

Births Mar 1876
HILL    Ida Lavinia        Potterspury    3b   23

If the date of birth is correct then the MQ 1876 would be the correct one.

HILL, IDA  LAVINIA     PATRICK
GRO Reference: 1876  M Quarter in POTTERSPURY  Volume 03B  Page 23

The 1874 one from the GRO

WALSHAM, IDA  LAVINIA     DE ROCHMONT
GRO Reference: 1874  D Quarter in MILE END OLD TOWN  Volume 01C  Page 605

I can find this marriage:-

Marriages Jun 1904
Birkett    George        Darlington    10a   65
Hill    Ida Livinia        Darlington    10a   65
