Thank you Trish,

I am trying to find a marriage between her and John Middlemist (various spellings), they had one son that I know of in 1802  born Sunlas.

Regards
Moo

If that is from Andrew Middlemas' death certificate, it looks as if his parents did not marry. If they had she would have been named as Isabella Middlemas, M S Scott. Or Isabella Dawson, formerly Middlemas, M S Scott.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Forfarian _ Thank you lol I have been unable to see the wood for the trees -

I have been reading his death entry as
Andrew Middlemist
Basket Maker

Married to
Christina Boog
Illegitimate

The Illegitimate part I had been wrong in thinking related to Christina  :-[

I was wondering why on the Baptism it read
Isabella Scott in Sunlas had a child born to John Middlemas, and not John being the first parent named.

Sunlas - where or what is this, or could/ should  it read Sunlaws

Regards
One very embarrassed
Moo  ;D

I think it's likely to be Sunlaws.
