John Pinyoun (Pynion) Marriage lookup

Hello,
John Pinyoun (Pynion), married Sarah Stevens, in Romsey, Hants., on the 14th Dec1795. need to know whether the register entry gives his original parish residence other than it being Romsey.
Can anyone help please.

Thanks - Haven't seen that one. food for thought, amazing if there are two brides with the same name, marrying in the same year to two grooms with such similarly spelt surnames. Surely something is wrong somewhere!

I suspect it is the same couple, could it be Banns

(listed as PINYOUN) says they were both of this parish and banns only.

The Romsey couple have a son Robert baptised on the 24th Jan 1796, a month after their marriage. They then disappear

This message on Ancestry implies they ended up in Lewes, Sussex.

Could well be, because I think the John Pinyoun who married in Romsey came from Sussex, but I  can't prove it yet, hence the need to check the marriage entry in the Romsey register. Thanks for your continued interest and help.

There's a burial for a Sarah Pinion, aged 31, at St John Sub Castro, Lewes - 28th February 1804.

The marriage to Sarah NYE was in 1805.

So how to prove that the couple married in Romsey were the same couple having banns read in Margate? Providing they were living in Romsey at the time of their marriage the register will just say otp.
