William Mowson Death
« on: Wednesday 20 February 19 15:53 GMT (UK) »
I wonder if anyone can help me with tracing the correct death of William Mowson, Brewer, Silver street Boston Lincolnshire.

I Know he was alive in 1826 as he was shown in the Town Directory of lincoln.

He was dead by 1844 because there is a newspaper article in the Lincolnshire chronicle showing his wife as a widow (the property they were tenants of was being auctioned)

In addition he is not on the 1841 census and his wife Ann (nee hodgson) is shown as a widow in the 1851 census.

I have no trace of his birthdate or death date - can anyone help?

Children include
Harriet
Eley
Martha
