I think my Agnes Shaw, married William Dent 10 May 1779, in Preston Patrick was probably baptised 21 April 1751 in Preston Patrick. If so, she was the daughter of Thomas Shaw and Rosamund Hudderston, married 12 November 1747 Heversham. But, I can't find any information about Rosamund Hudderston--or even the surname Hudderston. Does anyone know anything about this surname, or possible variants?
