Ellen Ada Pinkney - what happened to her

Ellen Ada aka Nellie was born to Robert Pinkney and Mary Ann Maynard. Her birth was registered Mar 1878 Scarborough. I have her in 1881/91 and 1901. Then nothing. There are a couple of trees that have her birth as 4 Feb 1878 and death as 24 Mar 1940 but no locations so not sure abt them. Having said that I found an Ellen A Burnett 4 Feb 1878 living in Leeds with a Harry Burnett. They die in 1940 Scarborough. Ellen Ada Burnett Mar 1940 and Harry Jun 1940.
I could not find a marriage for them so Ellen death cert will only say "wife of Harry Burnett" whether they were married or not. No will for Ellen.
Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Ellen A. and Harry Burnett are in Leeds in 1939. DOB 4th of Feb 1878. I'm not sure this is the right one!
