Looking for information on Annie McLaren.

All I know is she married Robert Johnstone MOFFAT 18 February 1887 at Dumfries. She died 24 April 1916 at Dumfries. Her parents were David and Janet Younger.

Any information would be very much appreciated.

The 1891 census has Annie's birthplace as England Preston, however that 1901 has her birthplace as Cranston Parish, Preston 

This 1851 is a possibilty -

Margt Mclaren   4
James Mclaren   2
Ann Mclaren   1 b. Cranston, Midlothian

Living at Briary Gate, Cranston.

It would be advisable to purchase her marriage cert to establish the parents.

Just got their marriage cert and can just make out her parents as David and Janet Younger who seem to be deceased.

Did look on Scotlands People for Annie's birth details but, before 1855 in Scotland, it wasn't compulsory to register BMD's. However, I did check and there isn't a birth entry for Annie.
