James Kavanagh
« on: Monday 04 March 19 19:23 GMT (UK) »
Hi, this is my first time on here. I would be so grateful for any tips that can point me towards finding out more information about a grandfather born in South Africa. He was James Kavanagh (aged 24) who married Agnes Elizabeth Wilkinson (1929) in Cape Town. The certificate says he was born in South Africa. I have found information about Agnes but nothing else about James Kavanagh. Any help or tips would be most appreciated. Thank you, Mish

Hi Garstonite
Thank you so much for your information. It would be great to think he was left this money - but it didn't seem to feature in the family. He was quite an elusive character I am told. (Perhaps hoarding his money lol.)
I am finding it difficult to find a birth certificate for him. I would like to know who his parents were.
Thank you ever so much.
