Is it possible to send for replicas of a gd parents medals? I had a catalogue years ago where you could buy national service medals.

I've never done it, but there are various websites where you can buy replica medals.  Is it specifically a National Service medal you are after?  If it is, you can buy one here for £14 http://replicamedals.co.uk/product/national-service-medal/

I have no connection to the site and have never used them.  There may be other people along shortly who can suggest other places.

Thanks for that. Since I posted I looked at a few other posts and noted a website that sells them. They even engrave the name and reg details. :D
