Dorothy Maddra

Has anyone got any information on my great-grandmother, Dorothy Maddra? Like a job? Places she's lived, etc? I know she had a lot of children, but I'm not sure how many and what their names are. One of her sons is my grandfather (Allen Leslie West).

To my knowledge, she was born on July 1st, 1931, in Hull, Yorkshire, and died on November 7th, 2002 (though I'm not sure where, could have been Hull).

Her husband's name was James West.

If you start with looking at the 1939 register, it looks like she wed twice.

With her unusual maiden name, you should be able to list kids from the gro indexes.

First marriage appears to be june qtr 1951 in hull district, which produced 6 kids 1952 onwards, with a couple more kids from the second marriage (not located) in 1966 and 1969
